“Protection Orders”, commonly known as “Restraining Orders” are used to protect yourself and/or your children from your spouse. “Family Violence” includes all kinds of violence / abuse, including physical, emotional, and sexual violence. This includes controlling behaviours, stalking, and threatening behaviours.
